San Juan, Puerto Rico
Pool safety fence season is year round in Puerto Rico with the exception of a couple of key times of year when other holidays and vacation time is more relevant. Most recently pool safety is and has become more of a concern for lenders in the banking industry from the aspect of pools being secure prior to loans being approved. Last week a homeowner contacted Pool Guard of Puerto Rico in desperate need of a pool safety fence so that they could close their loan on a home that they have been leasing but converted the lease into a purchase. The father of the child was against purchasing a fence and actually just wanted to "rent" a fence. Renting a pool fence to circumvent a law does not fit into our moral or ethical basis as a company. He agreed to proceed to purchase the pool safety fence and passed inspection with flying colors. The interesting part about the whole story is that I ran into the mother this weekend and she told me how happy she was with the fence because they had a birthday party for the boy and the fence was such a huge help in keeping them all away from the pool and focused on the party. I would call that a successful pool fence installation!
